CJC-1295
≥98% Purity Research Use Only$34.99
CJC-1295 without DAC, also known as Modified GRF (1-29), is a synthetic 29-amino-acid analog of growth hormone-releasing factor with substitutions that improve its stability. Supplied as a lyophilized powder for laboratory research use only.
Description
What is CJC-1295 without DAC?
CJC-1295 without DAC, also referenced as Modified GRF (1-29) or Mod GRF 1-29 (CAS 446262-90-4, molecular formula C152H252N44O42, molecular weight 3367.9 g/mol), is a synthetic analog of the first 29 amino acids of human growth hormone-releasing factor. It shares the modified GRF(1-29) peptide sequence of CJC-1295 but lacks the albumin-binding drug affinity complex (DAC).[1]
Research background
Native GRF is rapidly inactivated by the plasma enzyme dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPP-IV), which cleaves its Ala2-Asp3 bond. Amino acid substitutions at position 2 have been studied as a way to improve GRF analog stability against this cleavage.[2]
Format and documentation
Atlas Labs Bio supplies CJC-1295 without DAC as a white to off-white lyophilized powder in a sealed 5 mg glass vial. Third-party certificates of analysis for Atlas Labs Bio products are published in the COA Library.
Storage: Store at 2-8°C.
Frequently asked questions
Is CJC-1295 without DAC the same as Mod GRF 1-29?
Yes. Both names refer to the same modified GRF(1-29) peptide.
What is the difference from CJC-1295 with DAC?
The DAC version adds a reactive group that binds serum albumin.[1] See CJC-1295 with DAC.
Can CJC-1295 be used by people?
No. Atlas Labs Bio products are sold strictly for laboratory research use and are not for human or animal consumption.
