Description

What is CJC-1295 with DAC?

CJC-1295 with DAC (CAS 863288-34-0, molecular formula C165H269N47O46, molecular weight 3647.2 g/mol) is a synthetic analog of human growth hormone-releasing factor (hGRF 1-29). “DAC” refers to its drug affinity complex: a maleimido reactive group designed to bind covalently to the free thiol on Cys34 of serum albumin, extending the peptide’s plasma half-life.[1]

Research background

CJC-1295 was identified in a 2005 study in Endocrinology that synthesized albumin-binding GRF(1-29) derivatives and evaluated their activity at the GRF receptor in rats.[1]

Format and documentation

Atlas Labs Bio supplies CJC-1295 with DAC as a white to off-white lyophilized powder in a sealed 5 mg glass vial. Third-party certificates of analysis for Atlas Labs Bio products are published in the COA Library.

Storage: Store at 2-8°C.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between CJC-1295 with DAC and without DAC?

Both share a modified GRF(1-29) peptide sequence. The DAC version adds a reactive group that binds to serum albumin, which extends its half-life.[1] Atlas Labs Bio also carries CJC-1295 without DAC.

What does DAC stand for?

Drug affinity complex.

Can CJC-1295 be used by people?

No. Atlas Labs Bio products are sold strictly for laboratory research use and are not for human or animal consumption.
